Baked Mac N Cheese

"It's just Mac and cheese, it's not that big of a deal" is probably everyone's first thought. But the baked Mac N Cheese at The Bell Inn & Tavern IS indeed a big deal. The Gruyere and parm bechamel make it so decadent and the Ritz topping makes it a true comfort food. Wicked good!

Salmon Cioppino

I have been to the Bell Inn 5 times and have never been disappointed. My favorite is the Salmon Cioppino. Cooked to perfection and a nice presentation.

Smoked Brisket Grilled Cheese

We went on Wednesday night for the music in the cellar. Food was delicious. Atmosphere was fun!

Smoked Brisket Grilled Cheese

I have now ordered the smoked brisket grilled cheese twice and make it a point to try something different most everywhere I go. This grilled sandwich is that good, savoury, gooey, lightly charred with a touch of tangy sweet sauce. First of all, bottle that sauce up please! Bell Tavern has elevated the grilled cheese and I'm for it. See you soon

Smokehouse Burger

Local Oysters on 1/2 Shell

Oysters were delicious and service was great! Staff was very friendly and accommodating. 10/10 would visit again!

Brisket Stuffed Poblano Peppers

I grew up next to the Dr O'Shea office and residence back in the 1960s. I have many fond memories of playing under that magnificent Beech Tree. So I was very curious to see how they renovation came out. It's a magnificent job you did bringing this special place back to it's glory days! We came down from Concord, NH and stayed overnight, it was awesome to see the upstairs well appointed rooms and we enjoyed our stay immensely. But we also had a fabulous meal in the Tavern with a few other couples, we all loved our food and drinks. I stayed out with the poblano peppers, absolutely delicious, then I had the scallops and short ribs special, fantastic. The Sticky Toffee Pudding was great too. We also went downstairs to the cellar, very cool spot for a night cap. So in summary, fabulous renovation and we will definitely be back!

Baked Haddock

When there are so many chain restaurants with mediocre food (and extremely expensive food) I would like to say the Bell Inn and Tavern is supurb and many leagues above the others. The haddock is similar to the best restaurants on Cape Cod, it is awesome. Atmosphere is very nice and overall probably one of the best restaurants on North Shore right now.

Rhode Island Style Calamari

We had a lovely Easter brunch. Mushroom/Spinach/Swiss omelets, triple berry french toast, and calamari (teenagers!). Everything was delicious. The hashbrowns were the patties which my son said were the same his school serves - I was expecting homemade potatoes instead. The service was great and the building is just beautiful. We even took a peek downstairs at the Speakeasy lounge and can't wait to go back.
